Welcome to Aplus Identity. This Privacy Policy explains how Aplus Identity, developed and operated by Ahmad Ayoub (theahmadcodes) based in Zahle, Lebanon ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

To provide our dual-sided marketplace (connecting Freelancers/Talent with Companies/Employers), we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Profile Information (Talent): Name, job title, skills, location, availability, experience, portfolio links, descriptive text, profile pictures, and uploaded CV/Resume documents (PDFs).
• Profile Information (Company): Company name, industry, location, description, website, contact email, social media links, and company logos.
• User-Generated Content: Job postings, service listings, project requirements, and real-time chat messages exchanged within the Workspace feature.
• Usage Data: Application statuses (Applied, Viewed, Shortlisted, Rejected), project milestones, and general app interaction data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Aplus Identity platform.
• To facilitate connections, job applications, and service requests between Talent and Companies.
• To power the Real-Time Workspace messaging and collaboration features.
• To manage your account and provide customer support.
• To monitor the security and integrity of our platform.

3. Sharing of Information

Because Aplus Identity is a marketplace, certain information is designed to be shared with other users:

• Public Profiles: If you are a Talent/Freelancer, your profile (including your CV, skills, and services) is visible to Companies. If you are a Company, your job postings and company profile are visible to Talent.
• Workspace Communications: Messages and files shared in a project workspace are visible only to the specific Talent and Company involved in that project.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services, such as Google Firebase (for database, authentication, and secure file storage), to operate our app. These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time.

How to Delete Your Account: You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the Aplus Identity app by navigating to the Account Settings tab and selecting "Log Out" / "Delete Account" options, or by contacting us directly at the email provided below. Upon deletion, your profile, active listings, and CVs will be permanently removed from our active databases.

5. Security

We implement reasonable security measures, including Firebase Security Rules, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or social media platforms (e.g., portfolios, company websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
